What you’ll do:
Coordinate and implement GIS design engineering programs related to the development of proposed new designs or advanced application concepts. Selects engineering techniques and benchmark to concept considerations and solve technical problems, make design recommendations and optimize them
This exciting role offers opportunity to:
- Conceive develops and implements new engineering concepts. Evaluate technical proposals and the results of analytical, experimental or design studies. Has responsibility for creative engineering, design evaluation and research development projects.
- Formulate technical proposals on development of new designs and/or advanced application concepts. Present proposals to management and include basic design theory, cost estimates, feasibility studies and other pertinent data.
- Keeps informed of engineering progress in the field, the patent situation and development of competitors. Gather and evaluate information on the latest developments of competitors within assigned area of responsibility.
- Provide technical leadership to a small group of project assigned engineers and technicians.
- Exert leadership in technical societies and their activities. Prepare and present papers disclosures, write articles for trade magazines to enhance both his professional image and that of Eaton in the technical community.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, major in electrical engineering is preferred.
- More than 5 years of working experience in GIS designing
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficient in AUTO CAD and MS Office software.
