Job Description of this position
- Preparing sketches, charts, tabulations, plans and designs for engineering worksunder the direction of an engineer.
- Interpreting work assignment instructions,applying appropriate procedures and selecting tools and equipment.
- Collecting and analysing data, and carrying out computations
- Assembling and installing new and modified mechanical assemblies, components, machine tools and controls.
- Estimating material costs, quantities and ensuring finished works are within specifications, regulations and contract provisions.
- Organise and supervise the operation of machines
- Ensuring that designs and finished work are within specifications, regulations, and contract provisions.
- General production duties
