Scope of the Role

We now seek a bright, passionate and strategic Senior Brand Manager to join the Nordic Marketing team to take on the responsibility of one of the most important categories in OTC, the nasal category. The position manages the leading nasal brands Nezeril and Physiomer across Nordics. Both brands are in a strong growth transition with solid marketing and commercial investments. The role will be to successfully set a plan for further growth and take the nasal portfolio to the next level.


Work tasks are broad and include brand & commercial strategy, P&L ownership, media planning, creative productions and product launches. Nezeril is a local brand where you own the strategy and communication while Physiomer is a corporate brand and where strategy and communication are adapted and implemented to suit the Nordic markets. The role will be part of the bigger OTC team and work closely with the digital team, Nordic and local commercial teams, KI Manager, supply chain, regulatory and corporate marketing. The position will be placed in our Nordic Headquarter in Kista and will report to Business Unit Head OTC. The OTC team is part of a strong, passionate and skilled Nordic Marketing team. Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for delivering the Nordic nasal category P&L down to marketing contribution, including short and long range plan, marketing budget and gross margin.
  • Develop and implement long-term consumer insight-based Nordic brand plan.
  • Develop and implement communication strategy and media planning on the Nordic market in close collaboration with Corporate Marketing team.
  • Agency briefing and creative execution (advertising and media agencies etc).
  • Creative asset production (both offline and online)
  • Local marketing activities with the cross-functional team, in order to reach set sales and marketing objectives, optimize investments to ensure ROI.
  • Brand tracking & consumer insight and analysis of brand performance and suggest areas for improvements and strengthening the brands.
  • Commercial owner of the NPD/innovation plans within the Nordics.


Experience Required

  • Solid Brand Manager experience of minimum 5 years or similar background, preferably within FMCG or OTC.
  • Relevant academic background.
  • Proven track record of brand leadership and strategy as well as project management skills.
  • Experience in advertising strategy, asset production and media planning
  • Proven track record of successfully financial results and in market performance.
  • Commercial awareness and excellent business understanding.
  • Experience in digital marketing is a must.
  • Fluent in English and Swedish.
