Experienced Operations Manager
Looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the whole logistics and operations function of the company. You will be responsible for a team of roughly 20 staff, which includes staff from both the warehouse and office. This is a fast-paced position that requires huge attention to detail. Must be able to work with and manage people and ensure that systems are strictly followed.
The position may require the occasional assistance of other administrative tasks if one of the 3 office staff members are off.
You will report to the directors.
Requirements & Experience:
· Proof of success as an Operations Manager in FMCG is important.
· A very flexible, fast-paced position which oversees the whole logistical function, from stock ordering, to receiving, to dispatch.
· Must have previous experience with Pastel Partner.
· Strong Reconciliation skills with figures and stock control.
· Must have previous experience in Logistics. Good knowledge of Johannesburg and Pretoria for delivery routes.
· Strong communication skills and must be able to work with people. Outgoing personality.
· Must be a go getter and willing to lead employees to achieve results.
· You will be responsible for vehicle maintenance, general maintenance, IT & backup power.
· Must have contactable references.
· Non-smoker.
Package and Renumeration:
· Three-month trial period, followed by a 1-year contract. Long term employment is available after the 1-year contract, if both parties agree.
· 15 Days leave annually.
· NO Medical aid or Pension offered.
· Renumeration is negotiable depending on experience.

Salary: R20,000.00 - R25,000.00 per month
