Tax Supervisor (Blended WFH) [Philippines]

By joining us as a Supervisor, Tax, you will provide guidance to the Tax team on the execution of the tax reporting needs of the organization and serve as the focal point of contact for audits. You will lead tax compliance and ensure the integrity of tax provisions in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) or US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and local-specific regulatory requirements of each location supported.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead Tax Compliance and Reporting for Asia and the Middle East.
  • Review transactional accounting on Value Added Tax (VAT) and Withholding Tax Returns (WHT) globally and ensure timely filing and adjustments.
  • Understand, analyze, and apply specific country regulations related to tax provisions to determine the profit share of the entity.
  • Ensure Transfer Pricing results are consistent with benchmark ranges and the arms-length principle.
  • Contribute to the development of tax guidelines and policies in coordination with the site location finance controller.
  • Apply appropriate internal controls in compliance with Corporate Policies and Procedures (CP&P) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

For this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, preferably a Certified Public Accountant.
  • 6 years of work experience in a tax, finance, or accounting role, preferably in Big 4 or multinational companies; at least 1-2 years in a leadership role.
  • Solid understanding of internal control and GAAP.
  • Post-qualification experience in tax analysis
  • Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications, preferably in Oracle.
