Important information regarding the place of work: Haleon Belgium will be moving into a brand-new office in Q3 2023 as part of our strategy to be more central by getting closer to Brussels and to evolve in a dynamic business environment. Sales Manager Mass Market Belux

Are you energized by leading the development and execution of high-valued brand within the Mass market channel? If so, the Sales Manager Mass market position could be an exciting opportunity to consider.

As a Sales Manager Mass Market you will lead the Sales Mass market team in Belgium with full accountability of the P&L of the channel, working together with the Shopper&Marketing team and the NRM team to design the best strategy and go to market.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:

  • To deliver brand sales, share and profit as well as pricing strategy
  • Strong Financial acumen
  • To lead and inspire the Sales Mass market team, with a team of 2 Kams plus the coordination of the sellout third party merchandising agency to ensure the perfect execution at the point of sales
  • Develop the Annual agreement strategy plan for the channel to be implemented and negotiated with the customers
  • On a monthly, quarterly and annual basis to ensure we have a winning and executable plan across our customers and provide best outlook of the performance
  • Create powerful relationships with the Sales Leadership team, Controllers and key Retail Customers to understand retailer needs and to enable better, more impactful shopper solutions and activations.
  • Cocreate the strategy of the international customers interacting with the International Customer team dealing with multicounty negotiations
  • Reinforce our partnership with customers providing our vision on the categories and be recognized as category leaders in our categories
  • Together with the Shopper and marketing team create the right shopper activation plan for the year in order to achieve our targets
  • Be the lead point of contact for the External 3rd party merchandising force developing the annual merchandising key priorities
  • Evaluate and benchmark our shopper retailer activation internally and externally to ensure we are spending money efficiently/continually improving and delivering ROI to the business

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 10 years sales/category/shopper/ roles, managing portfolio of brands across the mass market channel
  • FMCG background

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • strong people agility to navigate through the internal and externa matrix, interacting and influencing at a variety of levels.
  • Experience leading a team.
  • Fluent in both French and Dutch is required to lead negotiations with all customers. Good level of English to interact internally within the Haleon organization
