About the role
We are on the hunt for Operations Technical Support based in London. This role will support theCountry Manager by coordinating maintenance and customer service related operations for JOLT’s electric vehicle chargers in London.

Your responsibilities will include:

    • Oversight of key operating systems to review asset performance and monitor faults or issues
    • Use of systems to remotely triage issues and schedule internal and external resources
    • Level 1 - desktop troubleshooting and debugging
    • Monitor assembly process with third party contractors
    • Ensure Service Level Agreement (SLA) in place with clients are implemented, and provide support in the ongoing negotiation of such agreements Involve in QA/QC process development and checks
    • Perform pre-commissioning duties and commissioning checks
    • Ad Hoc field visit for troubleshooting and/or debugging
    • Provide technical support to jolt team members and contractors remotely or in personEnsure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
    • Manage maintenance including raising work orders and monitoring job completion
    • Act as an escalation point for customer service support calls and tickets

What we are looking for:

    • 3- 5 years relevant experience with a technical/engineering degree
    • Understanding of asset maintenance support and customer service operations would be beneficial
    • Strong technical skills and a solution-based approach
    • Experience with product support in any technical industry (especially in EV) would be advantageous
    • Proven “Technical Hands On” experience would be advantageous
    • End to end, high technical capabilities, strong troubleshooting skills and a quick thinker
    • Self-learning capabilities, with ability to work in a team and alone under pressure
    • Good problem-solver and an excellent eye for detail to allow you to dive deeper when required
    • Some electrical and electronics knowledge/qualification would be advantageous - prior exposure/familiarity with IET 18th edition
    • Ability to interpret and understand technical O&M manuals and electrical schematics
    • Tech savvy and willing to learn new technology
    • Able to prioritize and develop processes to do routine work efficiently.
    • Flexible and adaptable to work on a wide variety of projects.
    • You will be someone who thrives in ambiguous environments, loves constantly learning and is ready to muck-in in order to grow our business!
    • A passion for green energy and the electrification of transport
    • Ideally based in London
