We are looking for a Cost Control Assistant for a great project in Antwerpen!
The Cost Control Assistant is a key member of the team with a primary controlling focus on the cost project. In this role, he/she will support the activities/monitor/ control the costs.
Your day-to-day:
Support administration linked to project cost control.

- Conducts contractual quality controls to ensure correct payments to contractors.
- Performs checks on proposed payments to contractors, updates cost files, and
- loads the cost as service entries into our SAP system.
- Proposes for each contract the translation of the different contractual elements into
- the SAP contract and prepares a contract cost tracking file and updates the overview of contract payments (PPC file).
- Provides partners with commitments and actual values on a monthly basis
- for costs recorded in SAP.
- Ensures correct monthly cost reports and forecasts, and provides information for monthly reports, meeting costs, and others.
- Regular update of spending forecasts.
- Ensuring correct accounting of extra labor costs and chargebacks for vendors and
- contractors.
- Support finance in preparing the project for capitalization
- Creation of purchase requisitions and receipt of goods in SAP.
- Act as a backup for the project management wizard
Your skills:
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Excellent administrative skills, solid experience in Excel and PowerPoint, OneNote
- Proactive and accurate.
- Flexible, stress-resistant, “self-starter” (see work)
- Good at organizing own work and supporting the administrative organization of others' work
- Discreet and appropriate handling of confidential information.
- SAP knowledge (MM & PM module, especially actual costs, and committed cost reports, services
- receipts, goods receipts, requisitions
- Previous experience working on projects or construction sites is an advantage
