Our client is a leading education provider, with over 1200 pupils. They are now looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their busy Finance team in Bristol.

Job Description

As Purchase Ledger Clerk you will -

  • Manage the purchase ledger inbox and supplier queries.
  • Issue prepaid card and virtual card, ensuring the ledger is well maintained.
  • Be the first point of contact for parents and wider school staff.
  • Act as a role model for all Clifton employees
  • Maintain an up to date knowledge of Safeguarding legislation, and the College's
    safeguarding policies and procedures, in particular with regard to the recruitment
    and retention of staff.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will ideally have -

  • Experience working within a busy accounting environment
  • Excellent computer literacy
  • A natural curiosity with the ability to learn and adapt new concepts quickly
  • A recognised qualification in Finance / Accounting
