Pentalog is looking for a Data Engineer to join a great team and work together to deliver high quality software and actively participate in discussions around tools, architecture and agile processes.
Your role will focus on delivering new features and functionality that will further enhance the customer experience while improving the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our core systems. Our client is committed to TDD, clean code and the values and practices of XP, DevOps and software craftsmanship, including pair programming and a 'you build it, you run it' mindset.

Job requirements
- Software or Data Engineer with experience of building a commercial application using Python
- Previous experience of working with DBT and data warehouses, using technologies such as Redshift
- Confidence in application design and architecture, with a strong grasp of micro-design including dependency flow, clean code and object composition
- Extensive experience of modern software development practices such as TDD, CI/CD and a DevSecOps mindset
- Familiarity with serverless computing and the AWS services that support it (in particular: Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, SQS, DynamoDB)
- Experience in coaching and mentoring
- A commitment to continuous learning - keeping up with the latest trends and technologies
- Excellent English skills.
