W e are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.
Business: Markets & Sec Services IT
Principal responsibilities
. Support and maintenance of the ServiceNow application to ensure a reliable and secure service for staff
. Configuration and customisation of ServiceNow using an Agile development methodology
. Day to day internal case management, case resolution and stakeholder support, including user setup and permissions management, liaising with 3rd parties as necessary
. Responsible for regular patching, hot fixes and version upgrades in line with the product roadmap, ensuring these are tested appropriately
. Liaise with business stakeholders to understand and document requirements, agree acceptance criteria, and work with the team to ensure the backlog is well managed and the right solutions are delivered.
. Thorough testing of any system changes made prior to release
. Data Imports, exports, cleansing and reporting
. Point of contact for ServiceNow expertise and training support, plus guiding less experience team members in ServiceNow design and development best practices
. Creating and maintaining End User Training and Documentation
. Continuously improving the platform offering and collaborating with other areas of the Software team to ensure ServiceNow is being used to its full potential
. Follow ServiceNow best practices (including scripting, security, implementation)
. 10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years of ServiceNow design and development experience
. At least two full lifecycle ServiceNow implementations in the role of a lead consultant or developer
. Demonstrated knowledge of scripting in one or more of the following: JavaScript, Web Services, HTML, Angular etc.
. ServiceNow development skills desirable including Business Rules, Client Scripts, Workflows, Form Design and UI Actions
. Comfortable in developing reports and dashboards
. Demonstrable experience of working in an IT Support environment with knowledge of ITIL standards and use of case management systems
. Strong investigative, analysis, troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
. Knowledge of AGILE development methods
. Ability to analyse complex business requirements, requests or problems and translate into appropriate actions and solutions
. Experience of delivering end-user training and producing/maintaining training documentation
. Effective verbal and written communication with a clear customer focus
. Experience within the Financial Services and analytics modules (desired)
. Certified ServiceNow Administrator (desired)
. Certified ServiceNow Developer (desired)
. Ability to be flexible with changing business priorities
What additional skills will be good to have
. Experience on Agile and Devops.
. Domain knowledge on MSS Operations
. Great English communication skill.
