Position Overview:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, enhancing relationships with existing clients, conducting financial analyses, and delivering exceptional customer service. The Business Development Officer will also be responsible for effective communication and collaboration with various teams within the organization.

Responsibilities:

· Conduct marketing research, manage projects, and create pitches for diverse clientele.

· Acquire new clients through direct contact, word-of-mouth, and collaboration with the marketing team.

· Generate leads via networking, cold calling, and referrals, while attending networking events.

· Develop business proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure client retention while securing competitive pricing.

· Review client feedback, implement necessary changes, and stay updated with consumption trends.

· Devise and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to meet sales targets and boost growth.

· Identify new market opportunities, conduct market research, and analyze competitors for strategic advantages.

· Prepare regular reports on business development activities, contribute to sales strategies, and assist in drafting essential business documents.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of at least 5 years in business development or sales, in a B2B & B2C environment.
  • A track record of successful lead generation experience, preferably through LinkedIn, up work, OLX, CRM and other lead generation tools.
  • Ability to generate revenue by identifying pain points and suggesting suitable products or services.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to close deals and achieve revenue targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical mindset to identify market opportunities and develop effective business development strategies.
  • Willingness to travel as required for client (meetings and industry events).

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
