Key Account & Programme Manager [Greece]


 

What you’ll be doing:

The job holder will be reporting to the Public Segment Operations Supervisor and will be taking ownership of programme management and account handling of public sector fixed telecommunication projects, from their initiation to implementation, including Syzefxis.
This is a highly networked role that requires an ability to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines. It will require strong people management and technical and analytical skills.

A day in your life will include:

  • Be the first point of contact with contracting authorities from beginning to end of project lifecycle
  • Arrange correct implementation of relevant telecoms products, under Vodafone or external partner ownership,
  • Prepare and ensure timely delivery of all legal agreements with both partners and subcontractors and with public sector Authorities
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders of public sector projects, ensuring timely and according to specs delivery of agreed specifications of public sector projects
  • Arrange and own all payment plans with project Authorities and partners, including ad hoc billing activities
  • Keep close contact with public sector project owners
  • Ensure smooth transition to new partners/subcontractors, as needed
  • Report in timely and accurate manner to internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure correct support of products offered following successful implementation

What we’re looking for:

  • Technical knowledge/overview of telecoms solutions for public sector
  • Experience in telecoms projects is essential, preferably in public sector
  • Project management experience & strong cooperative skills - team working
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Ability to deliver through internal VF cooperating teams and external partners, having end to end responsibility of the outcome
  • Previous working experience at managing end-to-end public sector projects
  • Strong results orientation and strategic thinking that will drive the assurance of the activities operation for Vodafone and partners.
  • Very good interpersonal skills and ability of fluent communication with customers, internal and external Vodafone stakeholders

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

Essential:
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Telecommunications, Engineering, or IT
  • Excellent command in writing and speaking of the Greek and English language
  • At least 5 years of experience of working on Public Sector Telecommunications, ICT or relevant projects
Desired:
  • Master’s degree in Telecommunications or PM or higher is considered an asset
