Junior Java Software Engineer

DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology center in Central and Eastern Europe. Opened in January 2014, the Bucharest office is constantly expanding.
The team is made up of enthusiastic professionals that work in an international environment, learning new technologies as part of Deutsche Banks’ businesses.

What is Private Bank?
Private Bank (PB), operating through two distinct business units of Private Bank Germany (PBG) and the International Private Bank (IPB), covers private, wealth and commercial clients across more than 60 countries.
PBG is Germany’s leading retail bank with two highly complementary brands, Deutsche Bank and Postbank, serving approximately 19 million clients. We target clients who are seeking advisory solutions with Deutsche Bank offerings and those looking for convenience through the Postbank offerings. In cooperation with Deutsche Post DHL AG, we also offer postal and parcel services in the Postbank branches.
IPB is an international Private Bank with a diversified business mix. Our core scalable business is in continental Europe, but we also have a profitable and fast-growing presence in Asia and the Middle East and we operate one of the leading UHNW franchises in the United States. Under IPB’s Personal Banking segment, we serve around three million clients, primarily in Italy and Spain.
Private Bank’s combined revenues are €8.2bn (FY 2021). Collectively the business units have €553bn assets under management and a €254bn loan book.
What will you do:
We expect you to learn in order to get to write well designed, testable code. Below some of your day to day responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test and document Java -based software components in accordance with requirements;
- Contribute to all stages of software development lifecycle
- Identify and resolve any technical issue arising
- Crete design documentation
- Verify the developed source code by reviews;
- Support QA team to provide high quality;
- Work in a scaled Agile working environment;
- Be part of a global and diverse team We apply best coding standards as per latest industry trends

What you will learn and we appreciate if you have some knowledge basics on:
- JAVA programming language, microservices architecture
- Spring and Spring Boot;
- Working with relational databases (Oracle);
- Docker, Kubernetes and JVM;
