Ko tā mātou mahi - Our Role
We are looking for a motivated, passionate person with an eye for detail to join us as an Information Centre Assistant at our Oranga Information Centre. This is an exciting customer facing role that will allow you to connect with your local community. The Information Centre is a hub that the public can visit to ask about the work we're doing in the area. Your role will be to receive enquiries and share plans and information about the homes we are building. You'll also build strong relationships with our builder partners and the local community.
Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu - What you will bring
To be successful in this position, you will demonstrate the following:

  • Local knowledge and a passion for Oranga
  • Experience in a customer facing role
  • Flexibility to work on a casual basis mainly from Wednesday to Saturday between 10am and 4pm
  • Excellent communication skills and basic computer skills
  • An interest in property development and an understanding of the home buying process
  • A positive, friendly, proactive, and inquisitve approach
