What is this position about?
We are seeking for a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to be involved in the design, implementation, enhancement and support of the CI/CD frameworks, container solutions, runtime environments, and supporting public cloud infrastructure.
You will be working in collaboration with platform engineers, security specialists, software developers, and business stakeholders throughout the company to facilitate cloud-based applications, offer self-service tools, update deployment methods, and promote best practices.
You may work 100% remotely if you are currently living in LATAM, or you can always join us at the office!
What will I be doing?
- Utilize infrastructure-as-code frameworks for the provisioning and upkeep of cloud resources.
- Design and develop processes to improve system automation, speed, accuracy, and operational workflow.
- Engage in a GitOps setup where code repositories are employed to oversee both code and environmental conditions.
- Collaborate with cloud security teams to fortify and ensure the security of cloud infrastructure.
- Supply tools and automated resolutions to facilitate self-service capabilities.
- Improve availability, resiliency, and recoverability of key data systems by leveraging modern configuration management, deployment methods, and architectural patterns.
- Work closely with software engineers to elevate operational workflows, capabilities, and provisioning processes. Improve the ability to monitor and maintain the database and other cloud-based storage solutions.
What expertise do I need?
- Hands-on experience with public cloud providers (AWS).
- Deep experience with Git source control and repositories hosted in the Cloud (such as Github, Gitlab, and CodeCommit).
- Ability to write automation scripts and web services (Python, Typescript).
- Familiarity with frameworks for infrastructure-as-code (such as Terraform, Cloudformation).
- Hands-on involvement with CI/CD systems and pipelines (including Gitlab Runners, Jenkins, and CodePipeline).
- Experience with Compute platforms (EC2, Kubernetes, ECS, Lambda). Proficiency in analyzing and resolving issues within networks and distributed systems.
What about languages?
Excellent written and verbal English for clear and effective communication is a must!
How much experience must I have?
We are looking for +3 years of hands-on DevOps experience.
